ACROSS THE NULLARBOR BEATING CANE TOADS - "A Most Competitive Journey"

Day 33
Wednesday 30 May 2018
Denham to Wooramel Station

Up betimes to visit the well-appointed Denham Dump-Ezy.

Drove the Cane Toad over some questionable surfaces (which really tested the A frame) to Eagle Bluff Boardwalk in the expectation of viewing turtles, manta rays and sharks. Alas, we only saw some dolphins scaring a school of fish and a German tourist who claimed to have seen a turtle.

Next stop, the aptly-named Shell Beach which is made up entirely of the shells of fragum cockles. Far too many to count!

Thence to Hamelin Pool to view the stromatolites.
Keen readers of the blog will recall that the Prop and Mrs P had tremendous difficulty identifying stromatolites at Spear Creek (see Day 8)
